WTT Kimber 22-250

Recommended Posts

Well, I am finally to the point of where I want a good, high quality spotting scope. So, I would like to trade my Kimber for one.

The gun: Kimber 84M 22-250. Bought brand new in 2006. Barrel was properly broken in by myself and RedRabbit. The gun has been hunted with, but has not, in any means been abused. There are the normal handling marks on the stock from going in/out of the safe and being my main coyote gun. Metal is 98%+. Gun is topped with a Leupold VX-III (Leupold number 55275) 4.5-14x40 LR (side focus) 30mm tube Varmint Reticle sitting in Leupold bases/rings. Scope is in excellant condition, lenses are perfect. Unlike some other Kimbers, this gun is a shooter. I stopped at 1/2" 5 shot group with 50 NBT, Rem brass, F210 primer and 36 grains of Varget. My best shot with this gun is a jack rabbit at 435 yards. Here are some pictures:

Good lookin' gun. Did it come from the factory with a blued reciever and stainless barrel?

What are you looking to trade for/selling price?

It is 100% original, minus a trigger job. I did the trigger myself and it is a fair trigger. Not excellant, but not bad. About 3 lbs.

I am not looking to sell, just trade for a high quality spotting scope.

Don't do it dude...you will regret it. Save those pennies and buy a nice used or mid range spotting scope - a scope won't get used as much as that rifle will and besides if you see a 50" deer in a 60X scope you'll be blasting away thinking its a 100 incher.

That's a sweet looking rig. But can you imagine the bad habits that thing has been taught???

;)

Funny you say that, I missed a CHIP shot on Sunday with Scout'm on a coyote...

Nice!!! I just bought a 22-250. If I had seen this I would have thought about buying a nice scope to trade. I agree with Scout'm; Don't do it!

Sorry boys... She shot a 1/2" 5 shot group (like always) today... Was hoping she was off cuz of the recent misses on the coyotes but she was right where she needed to be...

I cant let her go... She is off of the market.

Well since I have heard how good the gun kills paper but not coyotes :} I make you a heck of a offer $50.00 towards your scotting scope Which YOU will regret doing!!!!!! Or I will take the rifle out this season and retrain it to shoot coyotes for you and all you have to do is supply me all the amno I need:>

Keep the Rifle and don't worry about the scotting scope IT will come with time
