.270 Report post Posted December 13, 2004 i see where sue chilton's time is almost up on the commission. yay. she's worthless and a blight on Az. outdoors. also see that our he/she governor has nominated a bonified treehugger, antihunter to take her place. we gotta get napalitano outta there after this term guys. it has to happen. if she gets another term, the entire commission will be some kinda hugger. i hate the commission we have. i mean absolutely hate em. but we gotta get somebody better, not worse. anyway, vote when it comes time. Rembrant Report post Posted December 14, 2004 Oh c'mon Lark, tell us how you really feel. I wouldn't use them same words, but you're right about Janet needing to go somewhere. And I don't believe the commission is as bad as you say, though they pay way too much attention to being politically correct. Political correctness is the de-masculinization of America. Sure don't need tree huggers in there. What we need are commissioners with HUEVOS - big ones. Anybody that don't know what that means - you can ask Ernesto. .270 Report post Posted December 14, 2004 heck, rambrent, them guys are awful. there is no room for political correctness. only correctness. they're a buncha politicians that seldom hunt or fish. they're well connected purty boys. i agree with the huevos. there ain't any on the commission or in the director's chair. need some huevos and some guys that feel bad when the wrong thing gets done. not guys that think it's ok to do the wrong thing as long as it helps them politically. the more i think about it, maybe a hugger ain't too bad a deal. she has to better than anyone we have now. az4life Report post Posted December 14, 2004 I am upset but not surprised at the direction the commissin is going. The commission is just representative of the "perceived" population in terms of more liberal tree huggers PETA card carrying nutjobs. Political correctness is a tacticl ploy used by liberals to devalue anything they do not agree with. They know how and when to play that card to fool the public into thinking PC is a good thing. Appointing another liberal anti-hunter who is masquerading as a duly qualified custodian of the sport is just par for the course. Janet NapoloReno is a pure liberal and to expect anything else from her is unrealistic. She was elected in part because so many libs are moving here from CA. Our beloved state is changing and as we found in the commissions recent example of "no guts" during the USO lawsuit, this runaway train is going to be very hard to stop. The best chanse we have to save a little of what we once had is to band together as groups of concerned citizens and make our combined voice loud and clear. Rembrant Report post Posted December 14, 2004 That is absolutely correct. The voice of the people is the real strength. Us outdoors people need to figure out how to do that. Mike
