Yeah, let's all vote for the Candidate that represents nothing and hope that next time there is someone better. You know what, there won't be someone better next time if you continue to vote for the same ol' crap.

 

Obama is the biggest POS that has ever received a nomination, I'm not arguing that. I'm saying we can never expect better candidates, if we continue to vote for the crap they give every four years.

Hate to say it, but McCain is so old and in such crummy health - you will be voting for his Veep and his hotty wife anyway!

I agree with everything you just said, but the fact remains one of those two will be Pres. and will be appointing nominees to the highest court and many other high courts. Are we going to have a courts that looks like the ninth circus out of San Francisco or are we going to have more appointments like Roberts, Alito, Thomas & Scalia or are we going to have more Ginsburgh type pieces of crap. There is only one choice IMO, as hard as it is to make.

Who says that Juan McCain won't nominate a middle to left leaning SC Justice? Reagan nominee O'Conner was not a conservative in many of her cases and neither has been Stevens, who was appointed by Ford. Congress controls the Supreme court. Just look at the fights W had to get appointees approved.

 

You know what happens if we elect McCain? In 4 years, we get a McCain clone to run as the GOP candidate. The brainiacs at the RNC will just say, Look, this lefty won the last election, let's find another one and try it again.

 

I think, in the end, McCain has a shot to win, but in the long run, that is not going to help the USA return to it's conservative, small Gov't, Give me Liberty or Give me Death roots.
