Well said AZhunt--

And if you don't vote--don't Bi--ch about what happens. Voting gives you that right--if you don't vote--you don't have the right!! IMHO--Vote early--vote often.

Oh--Desert Bull--please vote for the "Global Warming" candidate--Paris!!! She is HOT!!--or so she says!

I don't vote because they all lie so who the heck would I even vote for? You tell me that and then I will register to vote. I don't want to hear crap though, I want to know who is telling the truth so when you convence me who is telling the truth then I will vote. You ask a candidate a question and they always blabber on about nonsence stuff. Because they don't have any clue of what to say. Plus congress acctually passes everything. They all say they want this they want that and nothing ever happens. I know our people fight for us but that doesn't change someone that lies.

Of coarse I'm voting, but I ain't voting for either one of these two clowns. I'll write in a name. Voting for the least of the stupid people for the last 20 years is what has us in the mess we are in now.

It isn't a contest to see if you can pick the winner. Vote for the person you think can be a great leader, not for the one you think might not be as bad as the other guy.

Desertbull, I have to (respectfully) disagree with the idea behind a write in name. I see here that you are pretty anti Obama and a vote for anyone other than McCain is effectively a vote for Obama.

I see and even agree with what you're thinking, but realisticly it's a wasted vote. That's one reason the primarys are so important.

I know voting for the lesser of two evils sucks (I'm not happy about it either) but if you actually want your vote to count then vote for one of the two names on the ballot.

Saw on the news this morning where Maverick is going to pick a pro-choice running mate. Makes me think he doesnt even want to be president.

I think my vote will count in sending a message to the GOP to get back to your conservative roots and quit pandering to the bent wristed liberals. McCain is a liberal, no two ways about it. He has had to spend his whole campaign trying to convince Conservatives that he is not. Too late, McLame!

I became a United States Citizen not too long ago.

I registered to vote the very same day.

Voting is a privilege I do not take for granted.

With Supreme Court justices and our gun rights at stake,

this is going to be a deciding election.

I think McCain should pick Condie Rice. Just my opinion.

You're right it sends a message, but it's still a vote for Obama!

No, it's a write in vote for Ron Paul.

If McCain picks a pro-choice VP, there is no way on this earth his name is on my ballot.

DesertBull Wrote: "I think McCain is a closet liberal, but he is the lesser of two evils"

and he is dead-on. Have y'all given much thought to just how FrankenFace got to be the GOP's best boy? This sleeper who came outta no where to take the nomination???

he our home state hero and I voted for Romney - despite my struggles with his religious convictions - he's still a good man, a smart man, a business man!

But dont you think that the Democrats finally mobilized their GET OUT AND VOTE machine the way the GOP did 8yrs ago and convinced hundreds of thousands of liberals to vote for McCain - JUST BE A SPOILER?

I honestly think Lieberman would be a good choice - because if we have two decent and wise Americans who ride closer to the middle but have conservative values leaning towards the right - our government will spend considerably less time fighting because of the battle of extreme left vs extreme right.

Face it guys, Elvis and Reagan are NOT coming back! :(

I don't think McCain is a closet liberal, I think he's a politician. He will do whatever he thinks is necessary to win the election. Right now the reputation of the Republican party is in the toilet. In the public eye our sitting president has done a poor job and that has really hurt the GOP! McCain is just trying to lean towards the middle to gain back some of the lost votes. It's all smoke and mirrors. He hasn't changed his heart he's just changed his appearance!

By the way it's no different than what Obama is doing/saying about gun control and many other issues. He tries to appear more consertive on the issue than he really is. It's an election! These politations try to APPEAL to as many people as possible. Once they win they go back and vote any way they choose to vote regardless what they told you during the campaing.

Plain and simple there are only two people that have ANY chance of winning the election and Ron Paul aint one of them! A vote for him is a vote for Obama! Perhaps it will make you feel better and you will get some satisfaction out of proving your point, but the truth is you will be cutting off your nose despite your face!

Just to set the record straight I don't want to come across as a huge McCain supporter. I'm not. I didn't vote for him in the primarys, but I will vote for him in the general because it's going to be a close race and I don't want Obama to win.

An election is not about picking the winner, it's about who your choice is for the office. My choice is neither of these two.

The reason W's opinion ratings are so is not because he ticked off the libs, it's because he abandoned his conservative base, with his stance on immigration, the deficit, big Gov't, etc. Look at the Dem controlled Congress, their numbers are even LOWER than W's. That tells us that people don't want big taxes, big Gov't, open borders, gay marriage, global warming taxes, etc

If the GOP gets hammered in this election, it's their own fault for trying to play the middle. Get back to the right, where the votes are and quit pandering to the left.

Truth is, If McCain has to fight for AZ, he has no chance anyway.

Tam is exactly right, there are only two candidates in this race. Any choice besides McLame is a vote for Obummer, be it a write in or someone else on the ballot that no one has ever heard of. The fact is that there will more than likely be at least two and possibly four supreme court nominees in the next Presidential term. You either want O'bummer making those appointments or McLame. As much as I dislike McCain, the prospect of Obummer making those appointments should turn everyones stomach and if it comes to fruition and he wins we will see just how far left this country goes. As left as the country and the court currently is, it will take another decidedly left turn that we may never be able to recover from. I'll be holding my nose when I vote.
