Geez, I thought some of you were pissed. A guy who writes a book must be imploding with anger.

I'm hardly "imploding with anger" 🤣, just calling BS when I see it & backing it up.

Just because someone "backs up" what they post hardly proves they're angry... passionate perhaps, but not necessarily angry.

I did find it interesting however that you latet noted, "I never said I didn't like the post..."  👍  😁

This thread is reminding me of the old story of the young bull and the old bull standing on the hill overlooking the cows and the young bull says to the old bull let’s run down there and bang one of them and the old bull says no let’s just walk down and bang them all. Patients boys life is to short to get worked up over a little delay which you will learn as you get older and wiser. Plus all the critters aren’t going to evaporate because the results are not out yet.

$13 isn’t much but spread that, plus licenses across 5-7 species, plus another $5 for point guard for most of us, for multiple people in a household and it adds up fast. I spend around $300-$400 a year (between my gf and i) if we don’t get a single tag. Add a few otc tags (bear, lion, turkey, deer) and it jumps up to about $600-$700 a year.

I went to the academy with several wardens, most of them have gone on to other law enforcement jobs for better pay.  They are stretched too thin and don’t make enough, in my opinion.
