Coach Report post Posted August 10, 2008 So, some of us got tags this year and some of us (me) got skunked. I've got my apps in for leftovers, but check out what I have to be jealous of ... Buddy #1 draws one of the "2" units in NM for mulies AND a 3a/c AZ archery bull tag. Buddy #2 draws a unit 13 NM goat tag, a Navajo Res archery muley tag AND a 13B AZ Strip rifle tag. Not green yet??? Buddy #3 draws the same unit 2 NM muley tag as Buddy #1 PLUS won the Sunrise 3D shoot raffle for a Ft. Apache Rez Throphy Bull tag. Pretty hard not to go "green", huh? All kidding aside, these are all great guys and very deserving. I can't wait to see how their seasons end up and hopefully we'll see some great trophy photos from all of them. To those of you who have great tags this year, congrats and make the very best of them. I was fortunate enough to draw a unit 16 NM Muzzy tag, and thanks to input from fellow CWT members, I've got a good jump on it. Good hunting, bro's! bearbait Report post Posted August 10, 2008 Sound like you got a good bunch of friends...even if they were a-holes(which I am sure they are not!), the luck has to rub of in some way, shape or form, like tagging along on a hunt or getting a piece of meat or even getting to hear the stories of their hunts!!! My condolense to you for not drawing, but congrates on the friendships, and good luck to your buddies! I myself, didn't not draw...I did BP for elk (should have done BPs for all)!!! But all I could afford this season is Pigs, which is basicaly shooting fish in a barrle! I may however go OTC on deer for carp, possibly a coues but doubtful. JHAM357 Report post Posted August 10, 2008 my dad got drawn for archery bull last year, i was happy for him unfortunately i was in texas and could not make it out for that hunt this year my dad let my brothers father in law put inwith him(who has not hunted in like 13 yrs or so) and they drawn for nov. bull tags and muley tags. i was at work and called my buddy who got a archery bull tag thiis year and told him the results were out so i looked up his and another friends results and they both got drawn dor dec. hunts. i gt squat. it's really not that big of deal, i am very happy fr em' all (despite what i say to them). i have my first baby dew in nov. so i couldnt ask formore than that. good luck to everyone that drawn all Az tags by the way Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
