Mountain Report post Posted February 16, 2021 Never hunted Javelina in the Catalinas but have seen some Taking the trails up to rice peak in the past. Not sure what its like after the burn last year. Definitely check out any area close to a water hole since they rarely travel very far from it. "Within 1 mile" but not saying to hunt right over the water. John O Report post Posted February 16, 2021 There are a few resident herds always within a mile of Peppersauce. Pack light, and go beat the bushes and cover ground until you push them.
