skyhawkbowhunter Report post Posted August 7, 2008 Normaly when i shoot my bow i shoot 30-40 yards but today i was shooting 60 yards. When i shoot 30-40 yards my arrows are hard to group i just thought i needed more practice but today when i was shooting 60 yards i found ot why, my fletches would catch the the two inside strings and send my arrow everywhere. Is there anything i ca do to fix this
ultramag Report post Posted August 7, 2008 you should try to adjust your cable gaurd if you can. sometimes it just set screw and a little turn and that should clear your fletches. good luck
ultramag Report post Posted August 7, 2008 the other problem that you could have is if you are torque the bow via bad hand placement on the grip. just put an arrow in your bow and see how close the cables are from the arrow. they should be 1/4 inch or better. azcouesandelk Report post Posted August 10, 2008 Also look at te limbsaver cable slide it will pull your string and cable just a touch farther in. Also look at the bar as ultramag stated
