Nice looking pup, I don't know about getting a hound causing a divorce. My wife told me we were getting this one, who am I to argue I was worried about the consequences of not bringing him home.

"Special Ed" at 4 months lounging.

Both dogs look good! How old is the GSP? I have a 3 year old female that I will be looking to breed in a year or so. If I can find a male worthy. Do you train your dogs yourself?

Nice looking litter Jade.. how do those ol redbones work here in the desert.. I've only ran behind walker, bluetick, plott some black and tans and mixes of all those put together, never behind a red..

This old girl can cover some country and cover it fast. She is showing a very good nose so far. She is also showing to handle the hot desert just fine as well. But as you know some of the best hounds are left wondering what breed they are.

I hate to jack 25-06s thread but look at this runt. it is twice as small as the other pups.

25-06 What a great looking pup.. One of the proudest moments of my young life was when I was helping my dad build our home years back and I see this house cat run by and start trying to find a place to hide.. It climbs up at small pinon tree a few minutes later I see my 4-6 month old pup can't exactly remember how old working out the trail.. he works around backtracks and after a few minutes sat himself down under the tree the cat had climbed and started to sing. Very satisfying and alot of fun.. Good luck and have alot of fun.

The GSP is 3 1/2 years old, I have had some help training from Terry Bostic at Bird Dog Kennels.

I just got my dog back from Terry last saturday! What did you think of his training? He had my dog for two months and she still needs another two months he says. <_< At 500 a month I think I might get a second opinion. Dont get me wrong... I think he is a very intelligent man and he knows what he is doing. Im just not sure how often my dog was worked and I feel kind of cheated.

Birddog, It sounds like your dog was at "dogcamp" I've never put my dogs through that. I used to go out with him on Sat. mornins and train but it's been a couple years.
