Dude your deer is one of the coolest deer that's been on this site in a while!! SERIOUSLY!! I love that extra beam and the drop off of it is even better!! Congrats!

Reminds me a lot of this shed......

nice buck and with a cast too good job ha

Thanks for the compliment on my deer. That shed you have reminds me of a double main beam buck I was chasing a few years back. He was very non-typical with 7 on one side and 4 one the other with about a 7 inch eye gaurd on the left side. I saw him eight different times but when the hunt started he vanished. I havent seen him since. I really think a cat ended up taking him out. He was only about 5 miles from where I killed my drop tine buck.

Man that deer is a stud! The deer I shot this past january in 33 had those same "bleached" wet spots under his eyes like your buck. Odd........

Do you think those bleached wet spots might be form dehydration?

Man I don't have a clue what they're from but like I said above I got him in 33 too so maybe there's something to that? My taxi said he's seen it on a few bucks but not terribly often.

Here's how my buck's was, it was only on one side.

It looks like they might be rubbing that gland next to their eyes on branches or something. That's a sweet buck by the way. I like the palmation on the main beam I've seen that type of palmation a lot in 33.
