Saguaro Report post Posted January 25, 2021 Transport of that may be expensive. I’m not sure of the laws, but I don’t think you can haul 10’ in width anywhere you want. You may need a permit and have to do it only during certain times of the day. Blocking and rigging to get to the transport phase may be another part of the price. Look at it as a project instead of a haul. There may be multiple items to this. The transport company may not make any guarantee that they can set it plumb and level and they can only load and unload. Saguaro Report post Posted January 25, 2021 It looks like he built it on top of existing hardscape. Be careful with that when you set it up. It might be that the walls were built to that slope and not flat and level like an independent slab. It looks like it might be low in the corner where it’s a little wet. I did pretty much the same thing except my shed was 9x13. Moved it from Queen Creek to Flagstaff back in 2013. My diesel truck got 4 MPG because of the wind load on the shed on the drive up to Flagstaff. Yep, red neck ingenuity. When I think back on how I did it, it still impresses me. Drivers have the option of purchasing permits at most Ports of Entry. OPERATING TIME: Daylight hours, (one-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset). Loads/vehicles not over 10′ wide or 14′-6″ high or not over 10′ rear overhang are allowed continuous travel. Loads not over 16′ wide, 16′ high, 120′ long and 250,000 pounds may travel on Interstate and specified state routes at night, from 3:00 am to 12:00 noon on weekends (except on holiday weekends and in curfew areas), but this must be requested when permit is ordered and must be stated on the permit. Note that loads over 11′ wide will be required to have one escort to travel from 3 a.m. to noon on weekends, and loads 15′ high and over will need escort with height pole. RESTRICTED TRAVEL: No OD or OW loads allowed on I-17, I-10 and SR 60 within city limits of greater Phoenix area, or I-10 or I-19 within city limits of greater Tucson area between hours of 7:00 am – 9:00 am and 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm weekdays.
