coues pics

My dad and I had went out this morning looking for bear and doing a little scouting on coues for the archery hunt. This guy popped out and ran over the hill. I was able to get within forty yards and he just stood there. Why can't this happen during archery season?

I went on Friday and sat in the blind for 6 miserable hours with so much as a rabbit showing up for a drink.

Nope. But i did see alot of healthy ripe acorns. We couldn't even find a track. Thats so werd the acorns are ripe but no sign of any bears. Now 24A is a different situation tons of bears but no acorns? I think I will wait untill Aug 22.
