John O Report post Posted August 2, 2008 Took these photos last weekend. This is only the second time I have seen sheep. The photos were taken at about 40 yards. Either these animals are fearless, or just really dumb.

wklman Report post Posted August 2, 2008 I'd say you were up by the mines in Morenci. I've heard that some of them are as tame as can be in there.

NRS Report post Posted August 2, 2008 Looks like Silverbell sheep over by the mine. They are pretty used to vehicles, or if you are on foot below them as they see a lot of vehicles in the mine and nobody bothers them. Looks like he needs to grow for another 4-5 years before being harvested so he can put some mass on those horns.

The big ram actually ran into the side of a Honda CRV in front of us, denting up the side and tearing off the rear view mirror. Then just stood there staring the lady down for about 10 minutes. trphyhntr Report post Posted August 4, 2008 sweet pics. If you are on the arizona side, I had that hunt in 2000. I got one a little better than that, but that is a good sized ram for that unit.
