Sheep

Took these photos last weekend. This is only the second time I have seen sheep. The photos were taken at about 40 yards. Either these animals are fearless, or just really dumb.

Is that a building in the upper right corner on the last pic? Where were you?

I'd say you were up by the mines in Morenci. I've heard that some of them are as tame as can be in there.

Looks like Silverbell sheep over by the mine. They are pretty used to vehicles, or if you are on foot below them as they see a lot of vehicles in the mine and nobody bothers them. :D

 

Looks like he needs to grow for another 4-5 years before being harvested so he can put some mass on those horns.

The photo was actually taken near Hoover Dam. The big ram actually ran into the side of a Honda CRV in front of us, denting up the side and tearing off the rear view mirror. Then just stood there staring the lady down for about 10 minutes.

i should have recognized that place, that is where I killed my ram in 2000 :D :D
