JHAM357 Report post Posted August 10, 2008 Yup, thanks to all the city folk diving up the hill and slingin' arrows! The local boys don't need the competion. So go find a new unit to hunt..... no more deer in those units anyhow..... Whats wrong with a little "city folk" competion? I would rather bring home a nice city folk pay check and enjoy the outdoors. Yeah, but only real men can live it.... and stick it! I've lived in the mountains of central AZ my whole life.... Don't think the city livin' ain't tempted me once or twice with the promise of a little more cash..... but I know lots of home town folks like me.... and I know they just hate sharing with outsiders. Nuthin' personal... not tryin' to start a barn-burner.... just statin' the obvious, that's all. Ward's..... You state a very true fact.... or actually lots of facts. Too bad they don't see it that way.... that goes both ways though. i know lots of city folks, myself included, that wish they could up and move to the mountains. dont think country livin' aint tempted us once or twice with the promise of , well, country livin'. and i know we hate people like you not sharing with us. what is there to share anyways, public land? anyways notihng persoal, not trying to help the barn burn down, just stating the obvious from the other side, that's all. Browning'sCustomMeat Report post Posted August 11, 2008 Maybe the G&F should do like the NN does. Survey cards must be sent in within 30days after the end of the hunt the permit was given. If you don't send in those cards, it will then make a the hunter ineligible for the following year hunts, unless you pay a $100 penalty which then you could only apply for the left-over permits. -Jeremy-

Gr8 White Jr Report post Posted August 12, 2008 I don't hunt units 22 or 23 but I do feel your pain. I hunt muleys in unit 42 every year and it too is no longer open in December. 42 isn't open in the early season so the only time I can hunt 42 now is in Janruary. Not cool! -Tracy
