L Cazador Report post Posted January 16, 2021 Hodgedon LiL Gun and AA1680 have both worked well for me with Hornady 60g. flat point and Winchester 75g flat point. Flat points are needed in a lever rifle with tube magazine. Both of these powders give a good fill ratio as compared to Win 296, 4227. AA1680 being a better choice for the heavier 75 grain bullets. In a bolt gun things will work differently but be aware that most of the older bolt guns are rear lug. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
