Birddog Report post Posted July 31, 2008 Hi all, Well I have been checkin out the site of the past week or so and just now have the chance to post. About me: I pretty much started hunting a few years ago so I still have a lot to learn. I hope by being here I can absorb as much information as I can and get to know each one of you. I have a few successful hunts under my belt but unfortunately not able to bring in a whitetail. YET! I am pretty much self taught and that is scary. I have hunted Elk, Mule Deer, Dove, Quail and just started Duck Bustin last year. I was able to get drawn for Cow Elk in unit 1, 2b and 2c. And for the first time I was drawn for whitetail in unit 23. I have never hunted unit 23 so any info would be appreciated. This looks like a great site with lots of helpful tips. Read over what AGFD website has about whitetail in unit 23 and then go scout out some areas and see what you might like.
