Rebuilding old binos

Recommended Posts

I have an old set of Baush & Lombs that I have glassed up a fair amount of critters with in its day. I cracked one of the lens several years ago, they are cloudy and not aligned right. I would like to get them repaired for old times. I also have a pair of Romainian Military Binos that are pretty good but one of the barrels needs some work to keep them aligned. Is there anybody out there that does repairs? Thanks, JLG.

Factory is your best choice since they would most likely have the parts .

I tried that last year and they just wanted to take my old ones and $200 bucks and give me another pair. I really don't want new ones, I got alot of memories tied up in the old ones and it would be nice to get them up to snuff again. Thanks, JLG.

You can try Tempe Camera Repair, 480-966-6954. Joey is pretty good with all optics. I spoke to them about my Bausch and Lomb 10 x 50 Discoverers and they said they could work on them. I am trying to find new eye cups for mine. I sent one in to Bushnell but have not heard back yet. They are good binos to glass with and I'm trying to keep them in service.
