I did once have a guy report on the rare bird alert that there was an MSOW calling in the middle of the day in the Catalinas. I had to let him know it was me working in the area. Yes, those are the pinals, but you are thinking the wrong direction. In that pic I am heading west from San Carlos reservation to Globe on hwy 70.
