black tail coues

ive seen coues with dark tails befor but this one is the darkest Ive seen

I saw a coues buck that was white... inside and outside! Stuck out like a sore friggin thumb! I spotted him from about 500 yards with my bare eyes as he was standing still!

 

They come in some weird ole colors!

That black aint his tail, Look at the secont pic you can clearly see a black somthin on the ground behind were he was standin...

25-06 is right. I have seen some pretty odd tail/coat colors myself though.

We have seen them with almost black tails to almost light brown tails.... and ofcourse grey.... One area that we bow hunt allot has several "black" and several "brown".... almost like are from different gene pools. Heck, I don't know.... interesting though!

Zoom in, its not his tail. Tho I agree with C&S. They come every color.

The Buck I killed in NM last year had a Black tail. Looked like a skunk! Alot of the deer on the Ft. Apache Rez are dark colord, with black tails.
