lancetkenyon Report post Posted November 22, 2020 A fellow hunter and I are hauling some water to a remote tank, with AZGFD bringing out a 1000 gallon water wagon to refill us for multiple trips. Mountain top remote site, hope my truck makes it! Approximately 1750 gallons of life giving water for the deer and other animals in the unit. The tank is dry right now, so hopefully we can ease some of the burden off the animals for a little while at least. Thanks to AZGFD for coming out on a Sunday to bring a water wagon to help out. 5 1

lancetkenyon Report post Posted November 22, 2020 Three of us (gbarcom, hynoon, and myself) delivered 1750 gallons for the deer and other wildlife. The quail could barely wait for us to leave, they were coming down as we were getting in our trucks after the 1st run. The deer were literally waiting for us, this little spike came to within 15' of AZGFD as he was waiting for us. AZGFD with the 1000 gallons for the refill AZGFD had these little portable drinkers up there, so we filled them too.

MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted November 22, 2020 I have always wondered why they don't just put in solar well at those sights. I know money is an issue but would solve a lot of issues and give us humans water as well.
PRDATR Report post Posted November 22, 2020 Good job Lance (AKA Key Master). Just sat around the ole casa today and would have definitely drove my truck and helped out for such a good cause. I actully have one of those metal cages minus the plastic tank at my office leftover from a former sub-tenant if anyone wants it.
