I'll be hunting the first 3 days for sure. I think I'm going to have to change my plans and hunt the unit I got a rifle tag in. It will be a whole new area but I think it will be fun.

It will be awhile before I heal enough to be able to hold the bow, and shoot well enough to hunt, maybe by the late archery hunt?

I was hoping to chase bears in the early season, but will have to wait until October.

I know where I will be -- I keep dreaming about it.

 

And I plan to hump in 2x as much water to drink as I did last year. I nearly died of thirst coming off the mountain last year. These early hunts are hot.

I'll be goin' for sure! i got a baby due thanks giving weekend whiich my dad got drawn for elk. since i didnt get drawn for ANYTHING ill be hunting as much archery in august september, and january as possible. well january permitting my wife will be ok with our new born.

I'd love to be out archery deer hunting but this darn archery antelope tag in my pocket is keeping me from chasing some coues.....
