This 448-pg. hardcover copy of The Complete Shooter by Sam Fadala, a resource guide for the practical Shooter was published by DBI books in1984. Some of the topics covered are: choosing and using modern firearms; knowing & understanding rifles, shotguns and handguns; time proven sporting shooting & hunting techniques; the how-tos of sights, ballistics, handloading and gun care. It is well illustrated with lots of B&W photos, charts and diagrams. 

My unread copy is in very good condition with a few small tears in the dust jacket. Original retail in 1984 was $29.95. There are a bunch of paperbacks available out there but few hardcover copies.
