Another tip is to see if another reputable member on Coueswhitetail can vouch for the seller if he is a new member. I refer friends to this site seeking info on hunting.

And you do see that happening, always cool.

I have found something to buy a.d have signed up to msg the seller, if they don't have other contact listed.   But I say in my post, juat signed up to buy XYZ, have other site refrences.

I never buy from people who only sell stuff or buy stuff. if they dont have any post in the other parts of the forum.   F to F only and only cash unless your a friend of a close friend.

my personal opinion is if you dont participate in the forums you dont get/deserve access,

if i'm wrong about the above ad, i just missed a smoking deal!! lol.

Something else I should have mentioned in my first reply.  Both Canadians and Brits use "colour" rather than "color," so the guy could be a transplanted one of either. And the other obvious thing trying to set up a FtF would be outing him on location, i.e. in Nigeria, etc., if he puts down that idea.

Still, if $900 is a going rate, that $500 seems way out of line and should be suspect for further "investigation" before any money changes hands.
