Man, what an interesting hunt.

Friday, I had the AC running in my trailer.

Sunday I had the heater going.

Monday we were 100% socked in from fog until I think 11 or so?

Glassed this guy up at 835 Wednesday morning, at 840 he was dead. With my hunting partner, Jim spotting, the 28 Nosler made quick work with a heart shot at 436 yards.

Can't wait to have some snack sticks!

Very nice buck, and good photo technique, as well.

Actually, I was serious -- i.e. referring mostly to the pose and lighting, which looks like good use of fill flash.

However, the sideways pic leaves a lot to be desired.  :P

Surprisingly,  I don't think the flash on my phone was used.

I was going by the absence of a heavy shadow under the hat brim, which wouldn't be likely, given the shadow presenton the rest of the image.  Or, it was perhaps lightened in post processing? Either way, it's a good pic.

Nope. 0 editing.

I did make sure to try and lift my brim as to not cast a shadow.

The fact that it was about 9am on a bright, sunny day, with the sun pretty much directly on my right probably helped a lot.
