Eazy street Report post Posted November 14, 2020 Not sure if this topic has been covered on here or not but Google didn't help me out much. Long story short I have 150 cases I sized and primmed about four years ago. It looks like there was some kind of oil on them causing them to tarnish. Is it safe to run them through my media tumbler with live primers?
dse Report post Posted November 14, 2020 I wouldn't. Media can plug the flash hole and with a primer already installed you won't be able to clear it. Could cause misfires or possibly hangfires.
recurveman Report post Posted November 16, 2020 tarnished brass will do you just fine. My brass is only shinny for the first firing anyways. I would load them up and make them go bang.
