G_E_E Report post Posted November 16, 2020 Look for the steep hills sides or top of hills and canyons. Last year I saw bulls almost to the top of some hills where it was impossible to see from roads. The only way we saw them was hiking up high enough for a vantage point. Just pray it won't snow 2 feet opening morning like last year. So far the weather looks like it will be great as long as there is no wind. And put plenty of layers on, remember it's easy to take off layers, then not have enough and be cold and miserable.
flyfishaz Report post Posted November 22, 2020 Concentrate on the north facing ridges. Also find the nastiest country you can find, that is where the bulls go after the rut. If snow is in the forecast get into your area before it snows. Bulls will go out of there way to bed (north facing ridges) in the snow if the weather starts to warm up after a storm. GLASS GLASS GLASS I shot this bull in last years late rifle snow storm. 4 1 1

Just to be clear on my like emoji....it is for your bull and not you. Not that you're not just adorable, but my emoji is for that beautiful bull over your left shoulder. 😀 Eddie

idgaf Report post Posted November 23, 2020 Canyons and north facing is a good rule of thumb. But just a rule of thumb. I took these pictures a couple of hours ago on a south facing slope in 60 degree temps with no canyons close
