Recommended Posts

The 128-pg. "The Hunter's Handbook" by Craig Boddington is more of a coffee-table style book with lots of color photos. This hardcover, published by Mallard Press in Sept. 1992, measures11.5"x11.5"  and has a paper dust jacket. My copy is in like-new, never read condition.

I will consider reasonable offers but no trades. Payment via PayPal (buyer doesn't need an acct; just a CC or checking acct.) or cash only. Must be picked up near 67th Ave. & Camelback or shipped at buyer's expense. ($4)

what do you want for everything you have left? You're posting individuals but what about a bulk of all the cool signed books you have left?

I probably have only a few signed books left to list.  Now, there's a 10' long wall behind one of the desks in my office that is all book case from floor to ceiling. The shelves are literally overflowing. Do you really want to know how much everything will cost you? 🤣

In reality, I didn't have any idea of how much money might be sitting there until I started selling them. It's a lucrative business. 😉

I knew you had a substantial collection. That part is obvious based on your recent posts. I think libraries like yours may be a thing of the past here very soon. And, someone needs to preserve what they can. I'd be willing to bet there are thousands of hunting stories that may never be told on those shelves. The internet and e-books are more appealing to the up and comers and the thing about those... in 15-20 years you won't be walking past a bookshelf and see the spine of the book and think to yourself, man that was a good one, I'm going to dust it off and read it again, or even better share it with the next generation.

Yup, about 60 years worth of collecting. And if someone is really thinking about what has happened in the past, they would be jumping to preserve some of these offerings. Think '57 T-Birds, art works and such. The perfect examples are the McManus books I'm selling; Pat is no longer around to sign his classic books! So the value will only increase over the years.

BTW, I also have oodles of old Outdoor Life, Field & Stream, Gray's Sporting Journal, AZ Hunter & Angler and other magazines filling various crates and file drawers.

E-books are definitely coming along. My wife has been reading her "chick" novels with a Kindle since my daughter gave it to her several years ago. Me, not so much. I still enjoy holding a pulpy book when lying in bed or sitting on the john. 😉
