az4life Report post Posted December 5, 2004 Hey everyone! I was out and about today and heard about the new Sportsman's Warehouse Grand opening on the west side of town. This one is at Litchfield Rd and I-10 I think. Anyway, it is not Cabelas, but it is pretty impressive, and will save you a long trip to one of the cabelas stores. Pretty good selection and seemed to be knowledgeable sales people and reasonable prices when I went to the one that opened last year (or was it 2 years ago?) along the 101 and I-17. Raining this weekend, so you might as well shop. Later

sczoner Report post Posted December 20, 2004 I was at the Sportsmens Warehouse grand opening and they announced that they would be opening in Mesa and Tucson within the year. So you folks down n Tucson will actually have a great hunting/fishing store. Bass Pro is supposed to open in Mesa as well (I believe next to the IKEA store). I have heard rumors that Cabela's is looking at AZ as well. I am somewhat biased to Sprotsmans since it started out West (Utah).
