TLH Report post Posted July 18, 2008 Actually TAM that would be a very smart thing to d--in fact, if they keep space around the store, they could grow with the population and economy. I know there can not be that many girls who buy the camo bikini's that i see down there (though i have searched for them many times)or a lot of the regular clothing you can buy at any J.C. Penny stores either. If they kept it to hunting and fishing they couldn't go wrong.
BML Report post Posted July 18, 2008 I was under the impression that the SW here in Prescott Valley was originally going up next to the new Kohls on Glassford Hill road. That's what the people at SW told me last year. They also told me that it would be open for business in April of 2008. Now, though, I hear that it's going in somewhere in this new strip mall that they are currently building on both sides of HWY 69 on the west end of town. If it is going in the new strip mall, it shouldn't be long before the build starts. The entire area has been site tested and approved for building. The Home Depot, Sam's Club, Hotel and a few other establishments are already cruising along. If it's still going next to the Kohls, it could be a while. Last I heard there were tons of problems getting the site testing to pass and currently all that land still sits untouched behind a chain link fence.
TAM Report post Posted July 20, 2008 I originally heard the same thing as you Blake. I don't think the Kohles location would get as much business as over by the new home depot or Sams. There is way more traffic off 69. Either way I don't care, I just hope we get one and they build it fast! What do you mean TLH??? I thought ALL the women that shopped at Sportsmans Warehouse wear the camo undies? I will confess that my wife proudly wears one of the t-shirts that says "It's all about the RACK"
