Huntn coues Report post Posted July 16, 2008 Is there a fletching tool out there that will do a variety of different size fletches? Any advice would be appreciated. I did look at the AZ easy fletch but was told it only does the bigger vanes and not the blazers
Red Rabbit Report post Posted July 16, 2008 I have the JoJan and have done fearthers, regular vanes, blazers on cedars, aluminums and carbon shafts. With the Blazers, I put also glued a vane to the front of the clamp to support that end of the clamp along the shaft while gluing the rear Blazer to the shaft. Hey RR- Does the Jojan do all three vanes at the same time?
Red Rabbit Report post Posted July 16, 2008 With the Jo Jan multi-fletcher, it can do six arrows at a time, but only it only does one vane/feather at time per arrow. http://www.jojan.net/index.php Doug~RR

Did all my 2" Blazers and when I bought a dozen from Archery Headquarters they used the EZ Fletch for 2" blazers for those arrws to. The secret is the glue and pressure. I believe they used Bohning Gel and only use light pressure when you crank them down.
Dick Report post Posted July 17, 2008 I have used the Bitenburger and the AZ EZFletch both, both work well for blazers with the EZ Fletch obviously being much faster, you do three vanes at once instead of one at a time!
crazy4COUES Report post Posted July 17, 2008 I USE THE AZ EZ FLETCHER FOR ALL MY BLAZERS, WORKS GREAT!
galiuro mountain man Report post Posted July 18, 2008 If you want one that will last forever, use the Bitzenberger. Then you can get different styles of clamps for helical and stuff. They are also fully adjustable and can do three vanes or four and will work with any vanes or feathers. If you want to be limited to what kind of set up you want then get any of the others. I own two of the jo jans and have them screwed to one bench inline so I can do 12 at a time and never use them. They are harder to use and I can fletch carbon arrows faster with the bitz. tcharchery Report post Posted July 19, 2008 I use the easyfletch and it works well with Blazers as well as other vanes. I just bought the Bohning tower fletcher thinking I would upgrade. Went back to the easyfletcher. The tower is for sale. I just don't like it.
