WTT Marlin X7 243 (Helping a friend)

I am trying to help my friend trade his marlin 243. He is an older gentleman that has helped me get into reloading. Being older he has gotten away from bigger calibers and is looking to trade his marlin x7 243 for a 223 bolt action. He said he prefers an axis, axis 2, or howa with a synthetic stock. (There was one more but cant remember) he prefers these due to their light weight.
