Siwash Report post Posted October 19, 2020 Took 4 in a few hours in an area I haven’t hunted regularly in almost a decade. Counted 17 empty shells so there was plenty of opportunity and two of the coveys I got into held 20+ birds. They played the usual run then flush out of shotgun range early-season behavior. Red Rabbit Report post Posted October 19, 2020 The quail outlook seems incongruous with the dry spring and summer. I usually hunt in the Sedona area. high rise hunter Report post Posted October 22, 2020 Was back out this morning and scratched out a solid 10. They made me work it, hiked 11.5 miles. Started in the same spot I hunted on the opener but the birds wouldn't hardly let me anywhere near them (running then flushing out of range).
