bowhunter-tw Report post Posted October 12, 2020 I have decided to replace the cheap flimsy savage stock with a boyds wood stock. This is stupid but I cant decide which color to go with. I am between the pepper color and nutmeg. My barrel and action are cerakoted midnight bronze (attempted to show in picture). I believe the pepper color is more grey than the picture shows. Let me know which you think!

muledeerarea33? Report post Posted October 13, 2020 Real wood or real wood look! If not then savage looks good in a grey stock!
bowhunter-tw Report post Posted October 13, 2020 It seems boyds is the only one who makes stocks for the axis... are there others I missed?
Dano562 Report post Posted October 15, 2020 The pepper is slightly lighter than pictured. I have one on my savage. My daughters savage also is 2 tone with the pepper. I can't find a picture of my whole gun in pepper but here is a picture of my daughters gun with pepper on it in good lighting.
