creed Report post Posted October 1, 2020 Anybody been there recently? I have a couple of days off and was thinking of heading that way. I read that the green algae bloom was bad and slowing fishing down.

creed Report post Posted October 5, 2020 Fishing was not that great during the day, just enough to keep it interesting. I grabbed about 4 hours of sleep and started throwing black worms. Nothing. Changed over to a crank bait and lit it up. Between 2:30 and 4 am it seemed nearly every cast had a bass hit it. As soon as it started getting light enough to see bass started busting shad. Crank bait right in the boils usually caught a small bass. Lots of fun!
