Richie Report post Posted September 30, 2020 I have some rifles that I need to ship to a FFL in a different state. Does anyone have any recent experience with any specific locations locally where you have shipped a rifle out of? How was your experience? Any tips or advice? I do plan on going to a FedEx and UPS locations to see what they say. Seems like some research I have done online still leaves some uncertainties has to how the exact process works. jdown Report post Posted September 30, 2020 Unless you are shipping to a manufacturer, I am pretty sure it has to go from an FFL to an FFL (Dealer to Dealer). You can ship directly to a firearm manufacturer but to my knowledge that is it. Good luck!
bdhuntr Report post Posted September 30, 2020 Just go to an official UPS center and ship it out. Have the FFL that will be receiveing it e-mail you a copy of their lic. to show the UPS person. It's that easy.
Curtis Reed Report post Posted September 30, 2020 I might be wrong, but I am pretty sure USPS, UPS and FedEx will all ship long guns to an FFL
