My first thought, as well. 🙄 But..if I was 20 years younger, I'd probably buy that rifle. My M70 .264 has been my go-to gun for more than 50 years now. Just for fun, the answer to how it shoots; place correct ammo properly in the receiver. Close the bolt. Pull the trigger after pointing gun in a safe, legal direction, holding tight to your shoulder. The trigger releases the hammer which strikes the firing pin which smacks the primer that pushes against the anvil igniting the primer material which ignites the powder creating a controlled explosion propelling the bullet down the barrel, etc., etc. Recoil, for every reaction there is an opposite reaction of equal energy? Not perfect by far, but you get the jest of it. Wait until liquid propellant is perfected with an piezo ignition source. Or, atomic/ electromagnetic impulse.😁 1
