CatfishKev Report post Posted September 23, 2020 features enhanced optical tolerances to provide even sharper images and greater optical performance. Not sure what that means exactly, the other changes are basically ergonomic https://www.meoptasportsoptics.com/us/produkt/meostar-b1-plus-15x56-hd-16276/
creed_az_88 Report post Posted September 23, 2020 So meopta released a new line?
CatfishKev Report post Posted September 23, 2020 Found a thread on rokslide about it. The plus is the same glass as the regular meostar. I guess they are gonna start using the b1 glass in the meopro air line and next year they will be coming out with a new line of even better glass for the meostar line that will be called the B2. The new B2 line is supposed to be right there in quality to the big three.
bman940 Report post Posted September 28, 2020 Just as an FYI- The glass and coatings are not different than the B11 except for the addition of the hydrophobic coating. Some of the manufacturing tolerances were reviewed and enhanced to give a better viewing experience and increase the durability of the binocular. I don’t know specifics on what exactly was reviewed or improved. MeoPro Air will have glass that is equivalent to the B1.1 (HDED+) without the fluoride objective lenses.
