jbone Report post Posted July 7, 2008 Here is another photo of him a few weeks ago, I have some from the past 3 years also I might be able to find. I saw some guy try and feed them yesterday by hand, while he was talking to them. Needless to say they did'nt eat out of his hand, nut did'nt run either. These people are always parking in my buddies driveway to take photos, he swears he's going to chase the elk off to keep the people out.
111 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 The eye guards never lie! Lance Lance do you have a pic of the droptine bull from last year for comparison? I don't think this bull is the droptine bull, but I could be wrong...
Lance Report post Posted July 8, 2008 this is not the "droptine bull", "powderhorn bull", "bonehead", or whatever bull from the past several seasons. it is this bull from last year. he is a big bull but not the piggley peaple think it is. this bull is very similar to last year except his kicker switched sides and he added a small extra off his g-2. very similar frame, beam, point angulation, width, etc. There you go! Those are the pictures we were looking for! I agree with the creek bottom bull! They have got to be brothers. I didn't see pictures of the other one dead but someone said they were posted last year? Anyone?

BML Report post Posted July 8, 2008 Mike and Lance--Looks to me like that is the same bull. The bull's G2 on his left side has a very distinct bend, or hook to it and both pictures show it. That's a great bull. I wonder, though, how far apart your two trail cameras are?? That would be neat to know to see just how far that bull is ranging. Thanks for posting up the pics. 111 Report post Posted July 8, 2008 Lance, out of all the areas I could of put a trail cam it's pretty crazy how we have them near the same spot. Primetime this bull is not in 6A but not too far away. Mike and Lance--Looks to me like that is the same bull. The bull's G2 on his left side has a very distinct bend, or hook to it and both pictures show it. That's a great bull. I wonder, though, how far apart your two trail cameras are?? That would be neat to know to see just how far that bull is ranging. Thanks for posting up the pics. He'll end up being a pretty nice bull being he had about two months of growth left. Lance's picture was taken about a week before I got my picture.

azhuntnut Report post Posted July 9, 2008 Snakekiller, If you can get past all of the residents, people taking photos and video, and the animal rights people, then you are welcome to put an arrow in him. He loves to show his mug before the season starts, but gets smart real quick when the hunters arrive. Most everybody and there brother know about this bull and where he lives during the summer, so its no secret. David
