Solar Panel for Trail Cam

I have a camera that's in a remote area and difficult to check and was hoping to extend the time between trips. Has anyone ever used one of these. It's compatible with my camera so I know it will work but will it work well enough to spend the money on it. Thanks!

I use the Moultrie chargers and have worked well

I had 2 cams out for about 8 months with no problems

I use a charger I get at Harbor Freight for less then $10.00 and they work great . I have 6 of them and havent had any problems with them and never have a dead battery

Can you tell us more about this charger. Part number, how it works, is it water proof and how long have you left it out.

I have a couple cams out all year and havent changed a battery yet . I have a couple more that are only out 6 or so months that I get 1500 pic a week mostly dove coming in . it is a charger that will charge multiple voltage . they have been out in the rain and never failed . it has a switch to change the voltage and I have thought of putting silicone on it after setting the voltage I need but havent yet and have had no problem yet and have used them for about 3 years maybe more .

This is the one that I use. It has worked flawlessley so far. Its pretty cheap too. I have to use the 12 volt, but most are 6 I think.

I'll have to bring one of my camera's in to see if one of the connectors will work or not.
