Been hunting this area for the past 10-15 years and as far as I can remember I've never seen such a lack of greenery at this time of year. I've been wondering for a while now if the bucks are eating a different kind feed that is better for antler growth panda helper during a drier growing period when compared to a wet one? I know a lot of hunters think a drier year is better for antelope horn growth when compared to a wet one. Could this be possible for deer as well in some areas? I'm also not clear if the dude is a hunter at all. However, I was told that coues do not require a lot of rain because they do not expend as much energy surviving and growing their horns as, for example, an elk. Which, to my mind, makes perfect sense.
