Hoarding ammo

last year it was 22 lr. 

Looks like it's 9 mm this time around.

Son, shoots up last of tub  at  the range. Usually no big deal. Asks if I can get anymore. 

Started looking around . Total shock . Out of stock , just about everywhere.

In stock $1.00 a round. 

 Crazy crap again !

Wasn't  it like .15 to .18 cents a round normally.

Last time I bought it I think I paid maybe .20 per round. That’s been a few years though.

I just bought 350 rounds the last couple weekends at sportsman's. Just have to be around when they stock it, which I was.

We already went through half of it. Wife bought her first handgun and  we are working on shooting it now. Hopefully we can find more at some point!

Reload your own or buy what you need for a year when you have the cash. Just like left over tags I guess, no promises these days.

It's not just a couple of calibers.  There is a lot of shooting related items that are hard to come by.  I am definitely looking to "hoard" some stuff over the next couple of years, Getting sick of this election cycle stuff.

It really has nothing to do with hoarding it has to do with being prepared! I had this problem with .22 10 years ago. I told myself I would never be caught without what i need. In the last 10 years ive been able to buy anything i want at least 5 or 6 of those years.

Hoarding ammo LMAO thats a liberial term. The only reason people call it hoarding is cause they cant get any. if it was the other way around it would be worded differently

I call it stocking up being prepared or I got some cash and and saw a sale, Kinda like mormons do with food who cares, once again people are being labeled for something failed to get.

Might want to teach your son to conserve his ammo or reload ;)

They are like Crazy and guns too, Daughter came to phx last week and asked me if I could get ammo for her marine buddies They didnt care the cost. she called every store none to be had, and those who had it were one box per customers.

Don’t forget manufacturers are effected by this virus just like everything else. It’s like a perfect storm with people fear buying and shipping, and manufacturing both having staff issues. There’s more companies hiring right now than I remember seeing the last 5 years. Like Lance said be prepared, be able to do things for yourself.  Reload and cast.  Lastly trade for what you need.
