Outdoor Writer Report post Posted August 5, 2020 SOLD Lynn Maxfield, a good friend and noted knifemaker from Layton Utah, made this knife that I designed. It's a 4" drop-point of 440-C steel with a 59 Rockwell rating and has a balbinga wood handle with a brass guard, butt plate and decorative inserts. It has "Tony" lightly stamped in the butt plate, which should polish out fairly easy. Although I've carried it around in a pack on occasion, it's never been used for cutting or sharpened other than the original edge. IOW, it's new. The heavy leather sheath is formed to grip the knife tightly. It had a lifetime warranty (I have the paperwork) but Lynn died at age 85 in 2016. Now, it's also somewhat of a collector's item. $250 I will consider reasonable offers but no trades. Payment via PayPal (buyer doesn't need an acct; just a CC or checking acct.) or cash only. Picked up near 67th Ave. and Camelback or shipped at buyer's expense.

It's a steal at that price. 😉 I first met Lynn at Buck's Camp, which is located at River's Inlet, BC. After, I sometimes stopped to visit them when I headed north somewhere. Good people.
