Best fishing is still sunrise lake in late October I've never fished Carnero. In fact, I don't even no where it is located. 😡Mostly rainbows? The trip with Joe was in May, sometime in the late 1980s or early 1990s. We tried Sunrise but managed only a few small trout. We also hit Big Lake, but the wind was too much for our tubes. Another spot we tried was Lee Valley, where we caught lots of small graylings, and we did good at Reservation Lake.
wildwoody Report post Posted August 2, 2020 Go deeper, cant believe the game and fish, we have thousands more people fishing but let's stock less fish , fish that don't breed, quit using Colorado hatcheries, no more brown trout, shock the bass in willow to no avail. Heres an idea let's go to a trout season, slot limits, alittle more enforcement of people filling there coolers with everything they catch. Never mind its perfect now..
