jdown Report post Posted July 20, 2020 I've shot a couple snakes with 22lr snake shot (both times out of 4" pistol) and it only pissed them off and makes them come harder at me, luckily I carried stingers as an e/o and those do the trick. I don't know if there an effective range for that stuff out of a handgun or not, but I'm not going to do any studies on it. +1 on the 410+ for me or a big rock always works.
