Kilimanjaro Report post Posted November 30, 2004 Well, we hunted hard in the Nov. hunt in 33, but we came up empty-handed. We saw a ton of deer, but none that iched the 'ol trigger finger! I hope everyone else out there had some good luck on their Nov. hunts. As the topic title says, I am 1 for 3 on the hunts this year. We struck out on the Aug. bear hunt up in 27, and then this coues hunt. BUT hey,I did score one a good 'lope in Oct. on a trip I took back home to TX. He missed B&C by 1 inch! Well, 1 for 3 ain't so bad after all!!!!!!! Good luck to all the lucky hunters with a Dec. tag in their pockets... ScottAdams Report post Posted November 30, 2004 Hang in there Scotty. They seem to come in clusters. One season you may end up killin' anything and everything and just have great year. At least that's how it's been with me. That is a beautiful antelope. I may have to try hunting them some day. Keep us posted. Scott
Red Rabbit Report post Posted November 30, 2004 Scott, If hunting were baseball, you'd be earning millions batting .333 That speedgoat is a dandy. I'm in your batting shoes also. Got a hit with mule deer in Utah, but walked back to the dugout with archery cow elk and Nov. coues. I'll be ready for those mearns between Christmas and New Years.
