Couesdeer Report post Posted July 7, 2020 I bought this thinking I'd build off the action. At the moment, I am three projects deep and this one is too nice to pull apart. Older 700 ADL chambered in .243 winchester. This one has glossy bluing and walnut stock with pressed checkering. Some dings from hunting/handling (pics of the worst below) , but overall very good condition. I did shoot it the other day with 2 different handloads (reduced 80 gr, GMX, and moderate velocity 105 gr Amax) both groups shot at an inch gross. (the 105 amaxes were a hair under and the 80 gr. were a hair over). $350 Located in Catalina
PRDATR Report post Posted July 7, 2020 I'd take it right now if you were up north. I'm in Mesa but not planning to get down there anytime soon. This will not last long.

I guess I could fake a job walk and take the company vehicle down there but I wouldn't do that. Wasn't there someone on here looking for a 700 SA Stock to cut down?

wildwoody Report post Posted July 8, 2020 How can you tell its an ADL and not a BDL , the black nose on the stock..
Couesdeer Report post Posted July 8, 2020 ADL=blind magazine (just a triggerguard, no hinged floorplate.) BDL=Hinged bottom metal.
Boarman03 Report post Posted July 8, 2020 Or both. Bottom metal and nicer stock, maybe a little more machining, is a CDL. These are general guidelines for the older Remington 700 series.
