Shuttle T locks

So I finally got myself a new set up this year and am looking at a new broadhead. I have always shot the innerlocs and never had any trouble with them. Im thinking about getting the shuttle T locks. Ive heard good things about them. Any one ever use them?

The 100 gr T-locks are on the end of my arrows. Fly like field points for me. They have not drawn blood though.

A couple of years ago, the local archery shop tested the T-lock, Slick Trick, Montec, Muzzy, and found the T-loc penetrated the best into a new foam target. It was the only broadhead to poke out the back of the target.

I guess after that test you better go with the T-locks, especially if you're all about deep penetration ( in targets that is). Not much bone in those targets either. Slick Trick only way to go.

Shuttle-T's make the nastiest wound channels I've ever seen. They are on all my arrows and they fly great........

I've seen the blades chip really easy when shot into a target. Not impressed with them. Another vote for Slick Trick, especially with their new heads coming out.

G5 Motec 100 gr.'s for me. I was very pleased with the pass through and the cut diameter on my deer. But to each his own.....

A head that you should not overlook since you already soot Innerloc, is the Falcon. They have made the blades thicker .027 and they also made the point and blades tuneable, so it is now cut on contact... Really cool! Next you can adjust the broad head by loosening an allen on the side of the broad head to tune your broad head, fletch orientation and knock point! I have been shooting the Stainless extreme's and they are deadly! 5 animals all fell quickly last year! Anyway... don't switch just to switch... Rarely is the grass greener on the other side, try the Falcon. Call Connie at Innerloc and she will get them to you as soon as they are available. Should be in a couple weeks.

Agree with Ndaniels, my sister shot them for a while and the blades seem thin and fragile and would bend or chip while shooting at a brand new foam block, it also got bent the heck out of it when my sister shot her javelina through a rib bone..but granted they did fly good. I see alot of positive reviews on Shuttle T's, often wonder if my sister has bad luck with em

It amuses me every time there is a broadhead question. Seems to be a lot of worry and extra money paid to get the "best penetration". "Wow my blah blah broadhead fully penetrated my Elk." If you do a decent shot on any North American animal you should have a full pass through with any broadhead . If you are worried about penetration you should look more to the weight of your arrows then the shape, brand name, or cost of your broadhead. The most and maybe only important thing to consider in choosing a broadhead is arrow flight with your chosen archery set up. If you are accurate with your broadheads and have properly weighted arrows.(KE) All you need to do is make a good shot and you will have a clean pass through and a short blood trail; even if your broadhead can't penetrate a brick or go all the way through a foam target.

i like the shuttles for several reasons. they fly great, are super sharp, and leave huge holes. the only thing i didnt like is that i had one break on me when i shot a deer a while back. the ferrule was snapped off at the insert. i dont know if it was something that is common, or not, but it was not good when cleaning out the deer, knowing that it was in there somewhere. i also would say that it has not stopped me from shooting them. i think they are overall a great broadhead.
