oz31p Report post Posted July 5, 2020 I’ve heard good things about elmers edge. the hybrid style broad heads are great in elk but you need high ke. Along as your shooting a heavy arrow faster than average you should be good ive killed bulls with grave diggers, slick tricks and shuttle t’s. I’ll be using a grave digger for my elk Hunt this year. The last couple bulls I hit with grave diggers died quick.
Ed67 Report post Posted July 5, 2020 The only bull I killed was with a 100 grain muzzy. I finally drew another tag this year and spent some coin on the Iron Will solid 125s. They fly great on my 550 grain Easton Injexions ive killed a butt ton of javelina with slick tricks but you can kill them with anything. I have a bunch of Sevr which are the newer Ulmer Edge which are a possibility this year. As of now I’m going with the Iron Will

firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted July 5, 2020 Slick trick worked on my one and only bull perfectly. I put two in him, in maybe 10 seconds, both in the kill zone though.

bowhunter4life Report post Posted July 6, 2020 I used the gravedigger on a bull and cow since 2013 and last year used the Evolution Outdoors Jekel. The creator of the Grave Digger started a new company thus the new Jekel broadhead- incredible flight, sharpness, strength and durability. All three less than 50 yards travel. 5

cmbbulldog Report post Posted July 6, 2020 Shoot the Broadhead that flies the best for your setup and you have confidence in. I’ve killed elk with different Broadheads and have learned placement and sharp blades are the most important factors. All Broadheads on the market today will kill animals.
