crazyaboutcoues Report post Posted June 18, 2008 Travis was the lucky winner of a Gilawilderness hunting consulting scouting package in last years Coueswhitetail contest. Hopefully he'll be in good hands . Jamaro and I drew the Burro mountains archery hunt again . My youngest son drew the Burro mountains youth hunt. And I finally got an elk tag, 16B second archery. Red Rabbit Report post Posted June 18, 2008 Travis, I enjoyed a 16A archery elk hunt several years ago. Enjoy yours! Doug
Kevin Report post Posted June 18, 2008 Tommy and Jason, just to let you know, I think you both suck! I can't draw a Burro Mountain tag to save my life. I won't complain though, after not having an elk tag for 4 years I drew 16A second hunt Elk tag. I also struck out for the 20th (yeah, thats right 20) time on antelope. I'd probably just keel over if I drew a goat tag anyway. Kevin

Snapshot Report post Posted June 19, 2008 I drew my first choice Unit 23 rifle mule deer, yes mule deer, I broke down and applied for mule deer because I found a little honey hole last year during archery elk hunt and I hope that big buck is still in there It might be a blessing in disguise that I did not get my archery elk tag, my injury to my hand that I hold my bow with requires more surgery, and rehab, so I probably won't be able to bowhunt for awhile Good luck to all of you that drew a good tag!
